A joint event between the Royal Statistical Society and the Office for National Statistics.

If we’re to improve gender equality, we must have the right data. This event will explore the state of the existing data and identify gaps in the evidence base, on issues including the gender pay-gap, well-being and domestic violence.

Keynote speech: Rt Hon Maria Miller MP – chair of the Women and Equalities Select Committee.

To be followed with a panel discussion with Dr Wanda Wyporska, executive director of The Equality Trust and Emma Rourke, director of public policy analysis at ONS.

The discussion will be chaired by  BBC radio journalist, Charlotte McDonald.
