This event is aimed at statisticians and economists interested in how the measure of GDP can be improved. It is a jointly organised by the Royal Statistical Society and the University of Manchester.

It brings together recent prize winners of the Indigo Prize:

Diane Coyle is Professor of Economics at the University of Manchester. [slides]
Jonathan Haskel is Professor of Economics at Imperial College, London. [slides]
Stian Westlake is Special Adviser to the Science Minister, and was previously Executive Director of Policy & Research at Nesta.
Alice Lassman is a student at Durham University [slides]

The workshop will allow participants to hear about the new methodologies proposed and will have time for discussion.
