About the event:
This talk considers the various ways in which subjective wellbeing can, and should, be measured for the purposes of informing policy decisions. It addresses some of the methodological challenges as well as issues surrounding the acceptability of using subjective reports of wellbeing to guide resource allocation decisions.

Speaker: Paul Dolan, Professor of Behavioural Science at the London School of Economics

Discussant: Nancy Hey, Director of the What Works Centre for Wellbeing
