Location Jubilee campus, The University of Nottingham

The colloquium is aimed at providing PhD students researching issues relevant toIndustry/Business/ Economics with a chance to showcase their research at an early stage of their career in a relatively informal environment.  Each presentation will be followed by a discussion led by a peer doctoral student.

BIS best paper award of the BIS section of the Royal Statistical Society
The Best Paper award of the Business and Industrial Section of the Royal Statistical Society will be given for the best contribution to the use and/or advancement of statistical (and econometric) methods to the analysis of industry, business and applied economics  issues.
ABSTRACT deadline
The deadline for abstract is Friday 13 May 2016.  Abstracts should be submitted via email to the following address: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . We expect to convey the acceptance/rejection decision by Friday, 10 June 2016.
PAPER deadline
The paper to be presented should be submitted by Friday 17 June 2016.  This could be a working draft, a complete paper or a single chapter from their PhD thesis.
Registration
There is no charge for attending the conference.  However, for catering purposes the deadline for registration is Friday 17 June 2016.
