Applicants should hold a PhD or equivalent qualification in Statistics, Biostatistics, Actuarial Science, or closely related Statistical Data Analytic area and have a track record of independent research of international standing.
Reporting to the Head of School of Mathematical Sciences, appointees will have relevant teaching and collaborative experience enabling them to provide leadership in development and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Appointees are expected to develop the research profile of the Department of Statistics and to collaborate with colleagues to build external partnerships in order to obtain funding for support of PhD students.
Practical commitment to internationalization in teaching and research activities is essential.
