The UK Statistics Authority has launched a questionnaire for those who regularly use the Authority's Code of Practice.

The Code, which was published in 2009 acts as a guide to statisticians and policymakers across UK government to ensure that official statistics meet the required standards to merit designation as ‘National Statistics’.

Ed Humpherson, director general of regulation at UKSA, said: 'The information gathered from the questionnaire will be used to identify common themes that we’ll explore in detail at future workshops. And the themes will feed into our exploration of ways in which we can better align the Code with the way we have developed the National Statistics ‘brand’ – to refer to statistics that meet the highest standards of trustworthiness, quality and value.'

The questionnaire can be accessed here.
