Society seeks new director for Centre for Statistical Education

The RSS is looking to appoint a new director for its Centre for Statistical Education, currently based in the Faculty of Health, Education and Society at Plymouth University.

As statistical education is a priority for the Royal Statistical Society, the work of the RSSCSE, in actively promoting statistics in schools, universities and in wider society, is of critical importance.

Along with promoting – and securing funding for – research in statistical education, the director will also be responsible for championing the content and delivery of statistics education in schools and colleges.  He/she will also need to work within the broader context of the RSS educational agenda – the Society’s ongoing getstats campaign being one example.

Further details for applicants are available at pioneeringuniversity.co.uk.
