Are you a woman who will be doing an MSc or in the final year of an MSci/MMath in mathematics or statistics in academic 2019/20?

The Mary Lister McCammon Summer Research Fellowship is a fully-funded summer research programme at Imperial College London for women studying mathematics or statistics.

It's an opportunity to work in research with a leading mathematician or statistician before your final year at university.

This is an opportunity to find out if a PhD is something you would like to do. By gaining research experience, you’ll also make your PhD application more competitive.

Key features

  • 10-week research project starting 1 July 2019
  • Stipend of £320 per week - the same as a PhD student
  • Based at Imperial College London, or for some students in pure maths at King's College London or University College London.
  • Up to 14 places available distributed among different areas of mathematics and statistics.
  • Cohort activities including communications training, PhD briefings, and social activities.
