The honours awards ceremony is one of the highlights of our annual conference. This year saw the recipients of the Society's flagship Guy medals (silver and bronze) presented, along with the Barnett award for environmental statistics, the West medal for official statistics and the inaugural Wood medal for economic/social statistics. There were two recipients this year of the Society's Research Prize, and polling guru John Curtice was awarded an RSS honorary fellowship.

A full list of our 2017 honours recipients can be found on www.rss.org.uk.
